Terms and Conditions
These general terms and conditions apply to all purchases of tickets for, and attendance of any event organised by the Tulip Society and/or Vonrock B.V.
Tickets
All tickets are strictly personal and non-transferable. Attendees must be at least 18 years of age, unless the Event description states otherwise.
Tickets are sold subject to availability and are allocated in order of completed payment. Payments can only be made by the online payment methods chosen by the Organiser.
Except where required by law, ticket purchases are non refundable. The Organiser may, at its sole discretion, permit a ticket to be transferred to a third party, provided that: (a) the Organiser has given prior written consent, and (b) the new Attendee has agreed to these terms and conditions in a form acceptable to the Organiser.
Cancellation & Liability
The Organiser may cancel or reschedule the Event for any reason. If the Event is cancelled and not rescheduled, the Organiser will refund the face value of the ticket to the original purchaser if the cancellation was not reasonably attributable to the Attendee. Any claims on grounds of cancellation for an amount higher than the ticket price are excluded in advance. The Organiser shall not be liable for any other costs or damages (including travel or accommodation costs), except to the extent such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
The Organiser is not liable for damages to person or property of any kind before, during or after the Event, or for damages resulting from the Event other than up to the amount of the ticket price in cases of cancellation.
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any Attendee whose behaviour is, in the Organiser's reasonable opinion, unsafe, disruptive, or otherwise inappropriate. In such cases, no refund will be given.
Photography & Recording
By Attending the Event, Attendees acknowledge that photography, audio and video recording may occur. Attendees grant the Organiser and its designees a worldwide, royalty free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use their name, image, likeness and voice, as captured at the Event, in any media, for editorial, promotional and commercial purposes relating to the Event or the Organiser's activities, without further notice or compensation, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Attendees may take personal, non‑commercial photos and short video clips at the Event, unless the Organiser or venue posts or announces a no‑recording policy.
Attendees may not use any photos, videos or other recordings captured at the Event to promote their or any third party's events, products or services, or for any other commercial purpose, without the Organiser's prior written consent.
Attendees that post photos, videos, or other recordings taken at the Event on social media or other public platforms, agree to credit or tag the Organiser's official account(s) and to remove or edit any such content upon the Organiser's first written request if the Organiser reasonably considers the content to infringe its rights or the rights of others, or to harm the reputation of the Event or the Organiser.
Assumption of Risk & Indemnity
Attendees acknowledge that attendance at the Event involves inherent risks. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, Attendees agree that they attend the Event at their own risk and that the Organiser, its affiliates, partners, employees and contractors shall not be liable for any personal injury, illness, reputational damage, property damage or other loss arising out of or in connection with the Event, except to the extent such limitation of liability is prohibited by applicable law.
Attendees are responsible for any damage caused to the venue, the Organiser's property or third party property during the Event, and Attendees agree to indemnify the Organiser for any amounts it is required to pay to third parties as a result of such damage.
General
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
This agreement is governed by Dutch law. In the case of any dispute, the matter will first be handled amicably. If this fails, disputes shall be settled by the competent courts in The Hague, the Netherlands.
